Go to the START menu and select ‘control panel’
Within the Control Panel, find ‘Programs & Features’. Under this is a link to turn off Windows features.
Within in Windows features, uncheck the Windows Gadget Platform.
4. Turn Off Unused Windows Features
There are some standard features of Windows – like games, Messenger – that be turned off as well, especially if you never use them. As above to disable the gadgets, you can disable these features. Try not to disable features you aren’t familiar with, as you could be turning off something important.
5. Prevent Unwanted Programs from Running at Startup
When you turn on your computer, several programs will turn on. Like the operating system, any office programs, gadgets, and others. To speed up your computer, have some of these programs not start when thecomputer does.
Go to the START menu and choose ‘run’.
In the textbox, type in ‘msconfig’. This brings up a console in which you can configure parts of MicrosoftWindows, such as what programs should start.
Select the ‘start up’ tab.
Go through the list and uncheck programs that you don’t want to start up, like a cell phone manager program, an office program (like MS Office). In the video below, I show you how to go in to the Blackberry Playbook’s settings and erase all the applications you’ve downloaded, all the data you’ve stored, and just bring the device back to factory specifications. Why do this? Well, if your device isn’t working the way you think it should, or if you just feel the need to wipe the slate clean, this procedure will do that for you.
1. Go to settings by clicking on the cog at the top right of the device or by swiping your finger down from the top bezel onto the screen .
2. Select Security.
3. Choose Security Wipe.
4. Type in “blackberry” to confirm and hit Enter.
The device will reboot after a while and you’ll be back to bone stock.

Sure, you can access web-based mail and calendars on the BlackBerry PlayBook, but if you want to use RIM’s own apps on this tablet, you need BlackBerry Bridge. This feature enables users to connect a BlackBerry smart phone to the slate and access the following apps: BlackBerry Messenger, Bridge Browser (web surfing over 3G), Calendar, Contacts, MemoPad, Messages, and Tasks. All of the data streams to the PlayBook from your BlackBerry phone. That means when the two devices are not connected you can’t access these apps.
Here’s how to set up BlackBerry Bridge on the BlackBerry PlayBook. For this how-to, we used the BlackBerry Torch phone.
Pair your BlackBerry phone (OS 5.0 and up) to the PlayBook using Bluetooth.
On the BlackBerry PlayBook, click on the Bluetooth icon in the status bar on the top of the screen, and flip the Bluetooth switch on.
Click on the Bluetooth icon, then make sure the Discoverable option is turned on. Now tap Add New Device, but make sure your phone’s Bluetooth connection is on and that it’s also set to Discoverable.
Tap Search on the next screen on the PlayBook. Your smart phone should be displayed. In our case, it was the BlackBerry 9800.
- Select your phone, and you’ll see a six-digit pairing code pop up on both the PlayBook and the BlackBerry handset. Tap Yes to confirm that the numbers match to conclude the pairing process.
- Download the BlackBerry Bridge App to your smart phone.The easiest way to get the BlackBerry Bridge app on your smart phone is to open the BlackBerry Bridge option under Settings on the PlayBook. Start by selecting your BlackBerry phone.A screen will pop up saying “Unable to connect BlackBerry Bridge with BlackBerry 9800 [or whichever Blackberry phone you own]. Connect Your Phone to the PlayBook via the BlackBerry Bridge App.
Open the BlackBerry Bridge app on your phone and turn the feature on.

You’ll see a message on your phone asking if you want to Accept Connection Request From PlayBook. Tap Yes on your phone. You can also feel free to check the box that says Don’t Show This Message Again.
On the PlayBook you’ll see the following message: BlackBerry Bridge installed and smartphone pairing complete.- On your smart phone, open BlackBerry App World, press the menu key, and click Scan a Barcode. Point your phone at the barcode to scan it, then click download to install BlackBerry Bridge on your phone.
You’re All Done: All you have to do now is go back to the home screen and tap BlackBerry Bridge to access your BlackBerry e-mail, calendar, contacts, and more.

With so many brands and all that hardware mumbo jumbo, how can anyone make any sense of it and be able to select the best laptop computer for their needs while getting the best price. While it can be daunting, there are a few main components that you need to know about to make an informed decision.

The Laptop Processor: The brain
Processors are just big calculators. They control what your computer does and are used in every task you set your laptop to run. This is perhaps the single most component in a laptop. Popular processors include the Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Celeron, Intel Atom, AMD Sempron, and AMD Dual Core.
The main thing to look out for is the number of "cores" a processor has and their "clock speed" measured in GHz (e.g. 1.8GHz). These days computers have more than one processor, or at least on the architectural level they do, but manufacturers still package them as 1 processor for simplicity. A dual core processor therefore is actually 2 processors in one. A quad core is 4 processors in 1. Generally the more "cores" you have the faster your laptop should be. The "core speed" is how fast these processors can perform calculations. Think of it as a car, the faster it can get from 0-60mph the quicker it will get from A-B. Same with the processor, the faster the clock speed the faster it will run programs.
Other less important factors to consider are:
Front side bus speeds: The higher this is the better, written in MHz (e.g. 667MHz or 800MHz)
Cache Size: The larger the better, written as Mb (e.g. 2MB Cache , 4MB Cashe)
Laptop Memory (RAM)
The processor needs somewhere to store all of its calculations while its working away. This is what the RAM is used for. If you do not have enough RAM your processor will be slowed down as it does not have enough "work space" to store data it is working on. Think of it as having to walk back and forth to a storage room as you do not have everything you need at hand to build whatever you are making.
In General the more RAM your laptop has the better. RAM is measured in GBs (e.g. 2GB, 4GBs of RAM). Additionally, like the processor the ram has a clock speed too. Just like with the processor the faster the better (e.g. 667MHz, 800MHz).
When buying a laptop, look for the largest quantity of RAM with the highest clock speed.
Graphics Card
The graphics card is absolutely vital if you want to play games on your laptop. For the gamer a laptop should be chosen primarily on the power of the graphics card. A graphics card will also have a clock speed, once again the higher the better. It also has memory, once again the more and the faster it is the better.
The best method for distinguishing between graphics cards is to search for a review of the card where they compare its performance with other cards. Be aware that majority of laptops have incredibly weak "integrated" graphics which will struggle to play any new game.
Look for a dedicated Graphics card if you are a gamer. Students, office users and internet surfers dont need to pay much attention to graphics power.
Hard Drive
This is where you store all your files and programs. The bigger the number measured in GBs the more space you will have for your files (e.g. 250GB).
All the Rest
Other items include a wireless receiver letting you connect wirelessly to the internet, an optical drive which these days is almost always a full DVD RW letting you watch and burn DVDs, card readers, webcams and microphones and an operating system.
Office Users

Anda juga bisa klik di sini: More Hot Trend untuk melihat 100 buah kata kunci (keywords) yang paling populer hari ini. Anda juga bisa mengganti tanggal dengan tanggal kemarin atau waktu-waktu yang lain.
Di bagian atas halaman ada box yang digunakan untuk memasukkan keyword. Misalnya kita masukkan kata berikut: AMD, intel maka akan muncul grafik seperti ini.
